Infrastructure services firm May Gurney has announced an 11th consecutive year of growth.
The company, based at Trowse, near Norwich, saw revenues rise 3pc to a record �483.1m in the year to March 31, while profit before tax was up 7pc to �21.6m.
May Gurney, which provides a range of construction, maintenance and waste services to local authorities, rail and water companies and the private sector, also reported a record order book of �1.7bn, up from �1.25bn last year.
Chief executive Philip Fellowes-Prynne said: 'We are delighted to report record turnover and profits for the 11th year in succession, together with a strong cash position, significant business wins, an enlarged order book of more than �1.7bn (excluding potential extensions) and a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities in our core markets.'
The company employs about 4,300 nationally including about 700 in Norfolk.
