I know, that this is not a forum but I thought that I should try,
To ask a question of the cyclists and I would value their reply.
I read that just to keep them safeanother million pound's been found,
To construct a super cycle path just to help them get around.
After all this cost and effort please would a cyclist like to say,
Why they keep riding on the road and getting in the way?

The main roads are getting busier the tarmac surface is so rough,
So why not use the cycle path, don't they think it's good enough?
The powers that be who spend our cash sit and in their ivory towers,
Thought the'dd use a cycle path they considered it for hours.
So this could be your ideal chance to give your point of view,
Can you please advise our councillors what it is that they should do.
They were thinking of your safety,
Thinking of the traffic flow,
If it's never going to work for you,
Please let the planners know.
Tell them why you will not use it,
Tell them what the problems are,
Tell them why they waste our money
when you're cycling near and far.
There might be more important things they could spend our money on,
They tell us it's in short supply, and when it's gone, it's gone.
