A recent reader letter questions the 'council's sudden obsession with cyclists'; and recently evening traffic news reports severe hold ups (even gridlock) in Norwich.
With all the new houses planned for Norwich and Norfolk the situation on the roads will become impossible unless commuters can be persuaded to use other forms of transport and this includes the bicycle.
MORE: Why is Norwich City Council obsessed with cyclists? It is therefore not surprising the city council should promote and encourage cheaper, cleaner and less obstructive 'vehicles' to alleviate this.
This problem is not going to go away!
