One reader thinks it's only a matter of time before cyclists campaign for a cycle path on Norwich's Northern Distributor Road.
In regards to the letter asking why there are no cycle lanes on the NDR, I thought everyone understands how this provision of cycle lanes process works in and around Norwich.
A few cyclists will start a campaign, then backed by Norwich City Council, the NDR will be closed for many months to allow half of one of the dual carriageway lanes to be turned into a cycle lane, therefore producing a 'one-and-a-half lane' NDR for the motorists.
Then, of course, the cyclists can ride down the middle of the road, ignoring the cycle lane!
