Magdalen Street is a historically important, multi-cultural part of the city. We might be over the river, but we are inside the city walls. It has some of the city's best restaurants, cafés, and genuine pubs all worth visiting, and it is where you could spend an entire afternoon browsing shops with true character and still not have time to visit them all.
Sometimes people are too quick to focus on some of the area's issues and label them all as 'Magdalen Street' but slow to give the area the recognition it deserves. The once again disgruntled traders deserve better.
