Canaries fans tuning into the radio to get the run down of this afternoon's match were shocked to instead hear about their arch rivals, as the frequency temporarily broadcast Radio Suffolk instead.
BBC Radio Norfolk was off air for a short time due to a fire alarm in the Forum, in Norwich, where the station is based.
But while the transmission was down, BBC Radio Suffolk was played and some Norwich City fans were confused that they were hearing from Ipswich Town's Mick McCarthy instead of City's Daniel Farke.
One Twitter user using the handle @wunjot said: 'Don't know what happened just there, lost Radio Norfolk on Radioplayer and got Radio Suffolk. Presented said 'And now we go over to Mick McCarthy' - I turned my phone off in a panic.'
Loyal Taxis Norwich added: 'Imagine having to listen to a Mick McCarthy interview every week!'
