Rackheath Players prepare for play double bill
Amateur dramatic group Rackheath Players will be performing a double bill of shows at the village hall later this month.
The group, which puts on three productions a year, will be performing Henna Night and Inspector Drakes Last Case from October 20-22.
Adult play Henna Night, written by Amy Rosenthal, is an evening of emotion, combined with subtle humour.
Inspector Drake's Last Case by David Tristram is an Agatha Christie spoof with Mike Hall playing Inspector Drake and Deborah Dance playing Sergeant Plod. Mrs Gargarin is shot dead but who did it and what was the motive – could her son Victor have committed the crime for the inheritance?
Tickets are 5 and the performances are from 7.45pm at Rackheath Village Hall, in Green Lane.
In December, Rackheath Youth Theatre will be putting on Bugsy Malone.
Rackheath Players are always looking for new members, whether on stage or backstage, and rehearse weekly at the village hall on Thursdays from 8pm.
