A textile enthusiast, fashion activist, vegetable grower and biological diversity champion are in the running for an eco award.

Public voting is now open for the eco hero title - one of six categories in the Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards.

The nominees are:

?Sarah Cox, chair of Friends of Colby School, who has organised textile recycling events in the school;

?Kate Cooper, a conscious stylist and fashion activist who leads sustainable fashion projects including the Norwich Fashion Jam;

?Rosalind Bacon, who has worked as a grower for the Norwich FarmShare community farm for four years.

People can vote for their favourite nominee, to be announced on March 20 at Norwich's Blackfriars Hall, by visiting www.norfolk.gov.uk/ecohero.

Voting closes at 5pm on February 28.

The Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards are run by Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council.
