Biddy’s Tea Room was getting into the spirit of Christmas past yesterday ahead of a vintage festive ball in Norwich this Saturday.

The tea room, in Lower Goat Lane, will be providing high tea at the retro Christmas party at Dragon Hall from 7pm.

At the ball there will be performances from the multi-instrument band He-Hews, swing dancing lessons with Earl Harlam and war time jazz style songs from songstress Gill Dean. DJ 78 will also be playing an eclectic selection of popular music from the ‘20s to ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll on his twin 78rpm gramophones.

Call 01603 663922 for tickets.
