Power cut triggers five false fire alarms in Norwich

Firefighters attended four false alarms this morning in the Earlham area of Norwich triggered by a power cut.

Two crews from Sprowston and Earlham were also stood down after it was confirmed a smoke alarm at a city house had again been triggered by the mains power failure.

The five false alarms occurred between 2.19am and 3.18am.
