Families fed up with Norwich parking permit woes

PUBLISHED: 17:20 26 March 2012

Families fed up with trying to find a parking space near their homes have been told they cannot use their parking permits in pay and display bays.

Adrian Holmes, Green city councillor for Mancroft ward, had been approached by people in the Cow Hill area of the city centre who said it was getting very difficult to find spaces to use their permits in, especially on Saturdays.

They had asked if they could use their permit in pay and display bays, but, at a recent city council meeting, officers said they could not.

However, they said a review of parking permits was being worked on.
