One person was taken to hospital after two vehicles collided on a major route in and out of Norwich, causing rush hour delays.

A car and a motorbike were involved in the incident on Plumstead Road East, around 50 yards up from the Heartsease roundabout.

Officers were called to the incident at 5:40pm and closed the road shortly after.

An ambulance also attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road has since been reopened.
