Residents in Thorpe St Andrew are being invited to help influence local priorities at a community meeting next week.

Police and council representatives will host the Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel (SNAP) next Wednesday evening to discuss and decide which problems need the most attention.

For the past few months, Thorpe St Andrew SNAP has been working to stop speeding, encouraging safe parking outside schools and working alongside the East Norwich Youth Partnership to look at ways to keep anti-social behaviour to a minimum.

Thorpe St Andrew SNT Sgt Neil Dye said: 'If there are other issues people would like to see addressed then this is the meeting to raise them. You can speak directly to police officers dedicated to this neighbourhood to record matters of concern or anything which you feel is impacting on people's quality of life.'

The meeting is being held on Wednesday, April 13, at The Morse Pavillion, Laundry Lane, Thorpe St Andrew at 7.30pm.

The team are also happy to discuss the issues on 0845 456 4567 or e-mail sntthorpestandrew@norfolk.pnn.police.uk
