Daniel Hall went missing following a full moon party on the island of Koh Pha-Ngan five years ago and has not been seen or heard from since.

Detective chief inspector Andy Guy, of Norfolk and Suffolk's Major Investigation Team, said the last sightings of Mr Hall had been on February 24 and 25, 2008.

He attended the full moon party with about 30,000 other people, and was seen at noon the following day at the Back Yard Bar on the island.

The then-35-year-old had been working in Norwich as a labourer before travelling to Thailand for a backpacking holiday.

He arrived in Bangkok at the end of January 2008 and made his way to the island, where he met up with a Spanish friend.

After being seen at the Back Yard Bar, the last contact Daniel had was with two friends who phoned him later that day.

Mr Hall has not been seen or heard from since.

His belongings were found where he had been staying, no money had been taken from his account and his phone was later recovered.

Mr Hall's family and friends have since visited Thailand in search of him, and made Facebook appeals.

A photograph was found showing Mr Hall to one side and two men in the centre.

Police would like to speak to the two men, thought to be British nationals, looking at Mr Hall in the photograph as they may be potential witnesses to his movements on Koh Pha-Ngan.

Officers would also be interested in speaking to any of the individuals in the photograph.

DCI Guy said: 'We are hoping that such high-profile coverage will help us to discover more about Daniel's last known movements and what became of him.

'Many of the party goers at the full moon party would have been British and five years later would now be living and working back in the UK.

'With the footage remaining on the Crimewatch website anyone who missed the initial show could still see the pictures and provide information which could move the enquiry forward.'

In 2008, Mr Hall was 5ft 10in tall, of average build, with dark cropped brown hair.

He had a tattoo in the centre of his upper back of the blue finger depicted in the Beatles Yellow Submarine Album and tribal tattoos on his bicep.
