Norwich plumber Scott Thomson is to run the London marathon on Sunday to help raise money for children who have been affected by leukaemia.
Scott, 21, from Easton, has spent months preparing for the big day to raise vital funds to run the 26.2 miles for charity Children with Leukaemia.
He said, 'One of my best friend's sisters suffered with the illness from a young age. This is for her and all the other children who are unlucky enough to have or have had to suffer this illness. It is also for their families who we musn't forget suffer too.'
Ben Twyman, of Children with Leukaemia said 'A huge thank you to Scott for his hard work and commitment. Without the support of each and every one of our marathon runners we could not continue our vital work to help save young lives.'
