Photo Gallery: Norwich Costume and Textile Association Dressing the Decades exhibition

The Norwich Costume and Textile Association is raiding its dressing up box for a fascinating exhibition taking a look at the way we wore during the 20th Century - from the fabulous frocks to the fashion faux pas. See pictures from our photoshoot at Dragon Hall here.

The 20th century saw huge changes in the way we live our lives.

And a new exhibition by Norwich's Costume and Textile Association, which opens this weekend, tells the story of those remarkable years through the way we wore.

Dressing the Decades is being held at the historic Dragon Hall in King Street from this Saturday, March 5, until March 18. And the members of the Costume and Textile Association have raided their vintage collections to put together fascinating displays from each decade from the 1900s to the 1980s to show the development of fashions and fabrics.

There are plenty of fabulous frocks - and a few fashion faux pas too.

Highlights of the show include an elegant green Grecian-inspired gown from the 1970s by the Japanese designer Yuki.

And a Frank Usher dress and jacket, complete with shoulder pads, epitomises the power dressing eighties - eat your heart out Alexis Colby.
