Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

Panto classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is being performed by the New Taverham Players for their Christmas show.

Nearly 50 actors are starring in the show this week at Taverham Village Hall and another 20 people are helping out behind the scenes.

Danielle Melton is playing Snow White and Tracey Drake is playing Prince Charming in the show which is written by Graham Barraclough.

Show producer Steve Melton said: 'The Players have done more than 20 pantomimes, but this is the first time we have tackled Snow White. It is a very nice storyline bordering on fairytale, but with all the slapstick of pantomime – our show is like the traditional story but with a few surprises along the way.

'It is a lot of fun and definitely for all ages!'

New Taverham Players have been putting on shows, including pantomimes, musicals and plays, since 1975. The production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opened yesterday and runs until Saturday.

There are a limited number of tickets still available.

Tickets cost 6.50 (5.50 concessions). To book call 01603 424313.
