Who would have thought 14-years-ago that a party in a penthouse flat would turn into East Anglia's biggest and most established dance music event.

Pam's House originated from Pamela's Pent House, a top floor flat rented by the original promoters of Pam's House. The flat was so named as it was a shrine to the Baywatch star of the mid-1990s Pamela Anderson.

The party was soon to out grow the flat into a small private members club - then within a year - on to the biggest dance club of the 90s in the East of England - Club UK Ipswich.

In the years between Pam's House have played the best venues in the region, held regular events in London, Birmingham and Brighton, and toured party destinations in Europe, Ibiza and Thailand.

Over the years, most superstar DJs have now graced the decks at Pam's House events - everyone from Boy George to Howard Donald from Take That, Eric Morillo to Danny Rampling, Judge Jules to Jeremy Healy, Eddie Halliwell and Lisa Lashes to name just a few.

The event have held a residency at the University of East Anglia now for over decade, it's the place they call home and its where they will be celebrating their 14th anniversary event.

Promoter Danny Banthorpe, who has been involved since the start, said: 'Fourteen in club years is like an eternity. Not many club promoters can continue to keep parties going past two or three years. This is testament to keeping up with current trends and music policies.

'The theme for our special anniversary event is Full Moon Party - to coincide with the first Full Moon Party of the decade in Thailand.'

The magic of Pam's has always been about its combination of visuals and audio. As the music rages, video screens project bizarre montages and the Pam's entertainment troupe present a carnival on stage.

The anniversary event, on January 30, will feature two undoubted dance music legends - Scot Project and Tall Paul.

Scot Project is considered the pioneer of hard trance and after 15 years of top-notch studio production and crowd-pleasing DJ sets, its no wonder why he is one of the worlds most loved and respected dance artists, and is regarded to as a legend in the world of electronic music.

Tall Paul is a UK DJ legend whose hard edged house music typifies the ever changing sounds of the Pam's UEA Phunky room over the last decade. His signature sound and production has dominated the harder side of the house genre.

In addition to the main event there is also an exclusive Pam's House After Show Party at Fuel (aka Liquid) on Prince of Wales Road from 2am until the early hours.
