The Orange Grove Clinic has celebrated its relocation to a new venue on Ber Street, Norwich.
The clinic, which specialises in yoga, pregnancy, births and nutrition, was relaunched by ITV arts editor Nina Nannar at a ‘bubbles and massage’ event on Wednesday.
The clinic used to be based in St John’s Alley and is now sharing a building at 66-70 Ber Street with Float Norwich, which specialises in flotation therapy.
The new centre will offer specialist massages, provided by Massage Angels, who gave guests at the reopening a taster of their skills with seated head, back and neck massages.
Jackie Heffer-Cooke, co-founder of the Orange Grove Clinic, said she was excited about the future of the clinic.
She said: “We are really excited that the Orange Grove is evolving, developing, and providing more to our core community.
“Our aim is to help manage stress and promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle. This relocation has enabled us to be more focused on massage, yoga, nutrition, birth and babies.
“We aim to provide even more support and expert advice alongside yoga retreats, mindfulness workshops. We will also be offering our brilliant Birthing Tool Kit which is an innovative must for all expecting parents.”
As well as providing standard massage treatments, the clinic will be offering specialised massage treatments tailored to pregnant women, which can provide relief from aches, pains, and pregnancy insomnia, as well as assisting natural inductions.
Mrs Heffer-Cooke founded the Orange Grove Clinic seven years ago with Catherine Jeans. Prior to that, Mrs Heffer-Cooke trained with the Massage Training Institute. It was after having a child herself that Mrs Heffer-Cooke decided she wanted to develop a practice which offered massages specially tailored for the pregnant women of Norwich.
