A motorcyclist has died while racing on the Snetterton race track following a three-bike smash.

A motorcyclist has died while racing on the Snetterton race track following a three-bike smash.

The man, who has not been named, was taking part in a track day event this morning in which riders can pay to race their own machines around the track.

Police confirmed that the crasj happened at 9.45am and initial reports suggest three riders crashed during a novice group session.

Two other men were injured but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening although the East Anglian air ambulance was called to take one casualty suffering wrist and neck injuries to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

A third man is thought to have a broken arm and was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.
