Nostalgia will be in the air when Yarmouth Town host Cornard at the Wellesley on Saturday.
Ex-Bloaters players and officials from the 1950 and 60s are being invited along as special matchday guests.
It was a golden era for the Town side who beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Wellesley in the FA Cup first round in 1953 and in the 1960s won the Norfolk Senior Cup and its sole Eastern Counties League title in 1969. Skipper Roy Hollis is seen holding the Norfolk Senior Cup, helped by fellow ex-Canaries Derrick Rackham (the Palace game goal hero) and Ron Hansell, after the 2-1 win over Fakenham in the 1962 final after a replay at Gorleston. It is hoped that the reunions, which will also feature other decades will become regular events.
