You are never too old to fulfil your dream. That's the message from 50 year old Corrine Tuddenham-Trett from Horsford as she prepares to model on the London catwalk tonight ahead of London Fashion Week.

'It all started earlier this year when I appeared on the Norwich Fashion Week catwalk, which was seen on a live feed via the internet,' says Ms Tuddenham-Trett. 'Angel Sinclair the founder of Models of Diversity contacted me and asked me to cast for her September show - after an audition in Knightsbridge I was excited to have been chosen.'

Ms Tuddenham-Trett will join other models and fashion bloggers from around the UK in the Models of Diversity Catwalk4Change show. The showcase aims to get beauty of all shapes, sizes and age recognised by the fashion industry and will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Mind mental health charities.

'Scouts from top model agencies such as Models 1 and Storm will be there and national magazines Cosmopolitan and Company are covering the show so it is quite a big deal,' says Ms Tuddenham-Trett. 'I turned 50 this year and I have taken part in catwalk shows throughout East Anglia for the past five years. I have just finished shooting a jewellery campaign for designer Jon Richards for Debenhams and I have just been accepted by a top agency who provide models for the TV shopping channel industry.

'Taking to the catwalk ahead of London Fashion Week will give me the chance to show the fashion world that age is no longer an issue at a couture level. I'd love to follow in the footsteps of Carmen Dell'Orefice who, at the age of 82 is still walking for top designers alongside younger models.

'Of course this would not have happened if it wasn't for Norwich Fashion Week. It was a superb event to be involved with and proves that fashion eyes are watching local talent.'

Norwich Fashion Week 2014 takes place from Thursday March 6 until Thursday March 13 2014. For more information visit www.norwichfashion.co.uk, Facebook - Norwich Fashion Week or follow @NorwichFashion on Twitter.
