Former chairmen of the Norwich Round Table have come together for a special dinner celebrating 90 years since the Round Table was founded.

There were 25 attendees at the dinner, all of whom have formerly held the Norwich chairman post.

The chairman of 1958, Stuart Bowen, was the oldest guest at the dinner, while the current chairman, James Cooper, was the youngest.

Round Table was founded in Norwich in 1927 by businessman Louis Marchesi, and the men’s social movement has since grown into an international organisation.

The club was initially aimed at young businessmen of the city and was designed to offer them a place where they could share ideas and discuss business, promote ethical practice and foster friendships with their peers.

The original Norwich group is still going strong and meets fortnightly.
