The Norwich branch of the Royal Air Forces Association has announced that more than �10,000 was donated to their welfare fund last year.
Donations from people in Norwich and Norfolk boosted the fund to �10,500 with the money being used to help members of the RAF suffering physically and mentally from past conflicts.
Wings Appeal Officer of Norwich Branch, RAF Association, said: 'In the view of the economic situation of the moment we are so grateful for the help and generosity of the public. Thank you.'
