Some of Norfolk's best martial artists were invited to the annual black belt gradings in Liverpool.
The World Ju Jitsu Federation (WJJF) hosted the event at The Clark Centre, Fazakerly, to honour those who have been able to reach the level of black belt.
Students from WJJF Norwich Ju Jitsu, based at the Norman Centre, Mile Cross, were invited to the North.
Adults and juniors from the region took part with adult members, Lori Palmer and Samantha Hawes and juniors, Cameron Gill, Aimee Earl, Alfie Earl and Lucy Palmer attending.
Aimee Earl, aged nine, came away with an 100pc honours award which has only happened once before.
Brett Lemon, said: 'This is something I can not explain. It's a dream that a student of mine has passed a black belt with an 100pc pass mark.
'This shows the world what I can do with my team. I just held back the tears, I am so proud of this young lady. I may only have a small club compared to others but the quality is magnificent.'
