A man was taken to hospital after he was discovered swimming in the River Wensum.
Emergency services rushed to help the man when people saw him in the river near Wherry Road, Norwich, at 7:45pm.
Ambulance crews took him to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where he is believed to be conscious and breathing.
