A city centre lap dancing club won permission to increase its opening hours today.
The Platinum Lace nightclub, in Dove Street, was given the go-ahead to open an hour earlier and close an hour later than at present.
Norwich City Council's planning committee allowed owner Simon Warr to open the club from 7pm until 4am, seven days a week.
A 10-signature petition against the changes was lodged with the city council, with seven letters of objection.
But police said they had been called to very few incidents at or near the club.
