A group of 33 girls aged between 12 and 17 were welcomed to Aviva's Marble Hall on Surrey Street to take part in the Inspiring Females event.

It came as part of a collaboration between the business and Norwich High School for Girls, where the Inspiring Females movement was born in 2016.

The day involved more than 40 members of Aviva staff - including six female senior leaders - who led workshops, hosted presentations and delivered question and answer panel sessions.

Kirsty von Malaisé, school headmistress, said: 'All of the young women I have spoken to since have shared how this high-energy event has helped them with their own personal development, opened their eyes to the many new movements in the world of careers and allowed them as individuals to continue to shape their own voice.'
