A Norwich family is hoping to cut its petrol costs as part of a nationwide campaign to help people become more fuel efficient.
International fuel giant Shell this week launched Smarter Drivers, an initiative aimed at showing families how they can save money through changing the way they drive.
As part of the scheme, 11 families will be independently audited over a six-week period using telemetry technology to gauge their petrol usage.
They will then be shown how to make quick and easy improvements, such as pumping car tyres up to the correct level and adjusting their driving styles.
The family that demonstrates it has most adapted their travel behaviour will win a luxury UK eco-holiday.
The Matharoo family, from Norwich, is one of the families taking part in the competition.

Satpal Matharoo, husband of Jasvinder, and father of Alisha, said: 'It's really exciting to be representing Norwich in the Shell Smarter Drivers experiment - it's helping to put us on the road to becoming a more fuel efficient family.
'Hopefully we can inspire our family, friends and others in the community so that we all start to drive smart.'
