A husband and wife team behind a Norwich printing business have invested 27,000 to buy one of the first digital printing machines of its kind in the UK.

Pippa and Mark Redmond set up Kall Kwik at the Meridian Business Park in 2006 having moved to Norfolk from London.

Today the business turns over 372,000 a year and has counted the likes of the police and Circle Anglia among its public and private sector clients.

The couple have now invested in a Roland XC-540MT printer - one of only seven in use in the UK and the only one in East Anglia.

'This machine really does anything from logos that need a little silver or gold to exhibition graphics. It's affordable luxury.'

Mrs Redmond added that the business was looking to broaden its portfolio of clients in 2010 and had picked up five new customers this month.

The new machine would also mean that the company would be able to do a wider range of printing work in-house - speeding up turnaround times.
