Norwich city centre will be turned pink for Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day.

A pink parade will travel through the city and landmarks including City Hall and Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery will be turned pink on Wednesday, October 18 for BRA Day.

It is being supported by local charity Keeping Abreast which offers support for women considering or undergoing breast reconstruction surgery after a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Anyone can join the parade to show their support.

The group will be meeting at the Norwich Castle at 6pm where they will begin the short walk to the City Hall.

Initially developed in Canada and the USA, BRA Day is an initiative that promotes education, awareness and access for women considering post mastectomy breast reconstruction.

Visit www.keepingabreast.org.uk for details on the event.
