Norfolk braced itself for sleet and snow today after enduring wintry gales across the county yesterday.
Police were inundated with calls yesterday as tiles came off roofs, trees were blown down and vehicles were shaken by winds gusting up to 50 and 60mph.
Part of Sheringham was sealed off for safety's sake after the wind dislodged tiles from a shop roof.
They started smashing down into Church Street just after 10am.
