Two former Norwich barbershop singers are harmonising again, decades after last singing together.
Chris Durdin and Jeff Jordan are both former chairmen of the Norwich Barbershop Singers but hung up their boater hats in the late 80s.
By chance both men were at a performance by Fine City Chorus in Thorpe St Andrew last November when the group were recruiting for new vocalists.
Mr Durdin, 61, from Thorpe St Andrew said: 'I left the barbershoppers in 1987 because I had just become a father and had a busy working life.'
Jeff Jordan was Chris's predecessor as Chairman, he said: 'It is great to sing with Chris again. I enjoyed the camaraderie we had back then, and the huge variety of venues we got to perform in. We sang in almost every hall in Norwich from the Theatre Royal, the Sainsbury Centre, St Andrews and Blackfriars Halls. So many times at local events I can say 'I have sung here'.'
