Performance venues across Norwich are coming together to support those affected by the Manchester terrorist attack.

Starting from Wednesday, May 24, bucket collections will be held at shows and events across the city, with every penny raised going to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

The fund will offer support to the victims, their families and dependants.

Participating venues include the Maddermarket Theatre, Norfolk and Norwich Festival, Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Playhouse, Norwich Puppet Theatre, Norwich Theatre Royal, Norwich University Of The Arts, OPEN, The Garage, The Halls, The University of East Anglia, Sainsbury Centre For Visual Arts and Writers' Centre Norwich.

'However, my own feelings aside, it is also the freedom to do this wholesome and fulfilling act that has been so savagely attacked. It is so heartening to see so many performance venues to respond in solidarity.'
