A Norfolk teenager will find out tonight if she is still in line to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical.
One of those hoping to slip into the prized ruby slippers and land the lead role in a new stage production of The Wizard of Oz is 17-year-old Tegan Edwards from Thorpe Hamlet in Norwich.
She was among 20 hopefuls seen going through their paces on BBC1's Over The Rainbow last Saturday , but unfortunately did not get picked as one of the 10 girls to go through to the next stage of the competition.
She is however still in with a chance as the public were asked to vote for one girl who was not picked by the panel which, as well as Andrew Lloyd Webber, includes singer Charlotte Church, actress Shelia Hancock and actor John Partridge, to carry on in the competition.
The winner of the public vote, which has now closed, is being revealed tonight .
Tegan, who was a member of the Norfolk Youth Music Theatre based in Sheringham, says it was from the age of six, when she was at Horsford First School and joined the school choir, that her real passion for singing began to develop.

She says the signature song, Over The Rainbow, means a lot to her as she sang it at her audition for her drama school, and she says that was the point at which she really started to feel musical theatre was what she was good at.
Speaking about what she would have to offer in the role, she said she would bring freshness, youth, empathy and cheekiness to Dorothy.
