No arrests were made during Norwich City's victory parade, police have confirmed.

About 35,000 people attended the promotion event in the city centre on Thursday but officers say the crowd was good natured.

About 35,000 people attended the promotion event in the city centre on Thursday but officers say the crowd was good natured.

City centre safer neighbourhood team inspector Ross McDermott said: “The event was carefully planned and robustly managed by the police and our partner agencies so as to ensure that people were able to enjoy the celebrations.

“No arrests were made and the event passed off smoothly. We are pleased that Norwich fans were able to enjoy the evening peacefully as it was a great opportunity for families to benefit from occasion.”
