HARRY MCVEIGH, WHITE LIES

t It's been a great year for you

'It has been, but we're more looking forward to 2009 when we get our album out. We've been sitting on the album for 6, 7 months now and we're very proud of it, but we just want to know what the general public and everyone else think.'

What can people expect?

'With our live shows we have to strip it back a bit because we don't have eight people to play everything, but we try and retain the power of the recordings. And we'll have a great live show by then, we just want to put on the best show we can every night.'

t Have you played with the other bands before?

'We've actually just finished a tour with Glasvegas, so it'll be nice to pick that up again. We get on really well with those guys and we're really into the band. And we've toured with Friendly Fires before and we get on with them as well.'

t Will you be partying?

'I don't know if we'll dive straight in, I'm sure we'll have a few big nights with the other bands, but we're a reasonably well-behaved bunch. We don't have many vices - well, we don't have many vices yet.'

t What essential item can you never be without on tour?

'We watch a lot of Partridge, so probably the Alan Partridge DVDs. There's only two series' of I'm Alan Partridge, but we tend to re-watch them. We know them all off by heart.'
