A new choir is being formed in Norwich by a choirmaster who has moved to Norfolk after 25 successful years leading a south Devon choir.
Stephen Rainbird is hoping to form a liturgical chant choir - a type of chant that is suitable in style, composition, and execution for a Christian religious service - that's repertoire will be based on Gregorian chants.
The group will also sing music from other ancient Christian churches and various hymns including those of the Celtic, Huguenot and Arab Christian traditions.
Mr Rainworth was well known in Totnes, near Torbay on the south Devon coast, for founding the Choros group and is now appealing for people who are interested to contact him on 01603 612429.
