Today the Evening News launches a fresh new look for our online service for readers.

The popular eveningnews24.co.uk website attracts tens of thousands of readers each month, with a high proportion of them coming back every day to keep abreast of the best in-depth and breaking news happening in the city. More than a million pages are now being viewed every month on the website.

The new-look eveningnews24 is designed to make it easier for people to find the local news, sport and information they are interested in.

The website also includes easy-to-use technology - sharing tools - so people can easily tell family and friends about the stories and comment from Norwich they have enjoyed.

Evening News editor Tim Williams said today: 'We have been providing an unrivalled depth of news about Norwich for local people for more than 100 years and will continue to do that - however technology changes. For decades we had the newspaper to reach people, but now we also have the internet.

'The website gives us the chance to reach readers in different ways. For instance we have unlimited space online, can include video and photographic slideshows and, perhaps most importantly, offer people the chance to instantly respond to articles they feel strongly about.

'I'm confident the new look of eveningnews24 will prove popular with our readers and advertising customers and will enhance their internet experience.'

As well as the very latest local news and information, eveningnews24 gives you the chance to keep up with the latest from Norwich City Football Club, get a lunchtime fix of fashion from our Life Matters section or browse our collection of restaurant reviews when looking for a place to eat out.

Whether looking for something to do over the weekend, or searching for a family notice or personal announcement, readers will find the website has a wealth of interactive content.

It is also the first port of call when looking for a new home, job or car in Norfolk through our Jobs24, Homes24 and Drive24 sites.

The Evening News also recently launched a mobile website, which can be found at http://m.eveningnews24.co.uk

The mobile website is tailored to allow quicker and easier access for people surfing the internet on their mobile phones and includes great features such as wallpapers to download and football score text alerts.
