New series and new sofas

Monday saw our schedule changes finally take place, after weeks of planning and preparation.

The refined schedule means our audience have longer opportunities to watch an original programme before catching a repeat, and we've got some exciting new shows to make that possibility all the sweeter.

Last week saw the launch of A Taste of Norfolk, with Chef Richard Hughes cooking his way around the county. The series continues on Wednesdays at 7.45pm, and this week on Mustard sees the start of another brilliant new series. The first episode of Stately Homes of Norfolk, with Chris Bailey, airs on Wednesday at 7.30pm, and sees Chris explore the house and grounds of Holkham Hall. Chris joined Darren and Beth on The Mustard Show on Tuesday to share his thoughts on the series, and it sounds like he had a fabulous time revisiting, and in some cases visit for the first time.

Stately Homes of Norfolk airs Wednesdays at 7.30pm and repeat on Fridays at 8pm. It is also on our catch-up service at mustardtv.co.uk/show.

The Mustard Show's week kicked off on Monday with the unveiling of our amazing new furniture for the studio – who would have thought that some soft furnishings could make a team so happy? As well as the gorgeous furniture, our titles and studio have also had a little tweak – you might notice some new clips and photos used on screen. If you've taken a beautiful picture of Norfolk and think it would great in our set, then send it in to production@mustardtv.co.uk.

And talking of pics, you may have seen the wonderful cartoon that member of the team, Maisie, made for the Property Princess herself, Caroline Culot. We think it's perfect for our Dame of the Des Res.

Quiz politicans

This Week has been created to give people the chance to put questions to their elected representatives as well as giving city and county councillors, MPs, MEPs and prospective politicians the chance to give their view.

Experienced journalist Clare Precey (pictured) presents the show on Thursdays at 6.15pm. Clare is a former BBC national senior broadcast journalist and has worked as a programme editor, reporter and presenter for Radio One Newsbeat. The first show focuses on the debate surrounding the proposed new cycle paths for Norwich. (This week Thursday 6.15pm)

Tom Vince on TV

Reflecting on the first six months of Mustard TV broadcasting to the city of Norwich and beyond, I've discovered two very important things. Firstly, here in Norfolk there is always something going on and something to do and secondly, Darren Eadie uses four tubes of hair gel a week…

I've been fortunate enough to enjoy polo, roller derby and even snorkelled beneath the surface of the Norfolk broads, but in the next few weeks you'll be able to catch the Mustard Show getting up to some of the most intense activities available here in the county, on 'The Mustard King/Queen of the Outdoors Competition'.

The Mustard squad split into two teams and headed down to Thetford forest to test our wits against the perilous Norfolk wilderness, our first challenge… Mini tank driving.

Unfortunately, after much cruising and even more crashing, the Blue team of Darren Eadie, Ellen Mary and I, were defeated by the super-squad of Chris Bailey, Beth Davison and Dan Bancroft. Next week we try clay-pigeon shooting and archery.
