Milk float fire in Norwich

Firefighters found themselves battling to extinguish a milk float that went up in flames in Norwich this morning,

The fire, on Woodcock Road, Hellesdon, was called in to Norfolk Fire Service by the owner of the float at around 3.

Firefighters found themselves battling to extinguish a milk float that went up in flames in Norwich this morning,

The fire, on Woodcock Road, Hellesdon, was called in to Norfolk Fire Service by the owner of the float at around 3.55am.

A spokesman for the service said the blaze was brought under control at around 4.10am, with firefighters from Sprowston using hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera.
