Memory of Norwich childcare worker to be honoured

The memory of a young childcare worker who died of leukaemia at the age of just 24 will be honoured with a country food and craft fair in May.

The memory of a young childcare worker who died of leukaemia at the age of just 24 will be honoured with a country food and craft fair in May.

Grace Cooper, of Long Stratton, who died in May 2008, and was the deputy manager of the after school club at the Treehouse Children's and Family Centre in Chatham Street, Norwich, will be remembered at the sixth annual Earsham Hall May Day country food and craft fair. The event at Earsham Hall, near Bungay, takes place on Bank Holiday Monday May 3, from 10am until 4pm.

All profits will be going for the second year to Leukaemia Research and specifically the Forget Me Not Fund, in memory of Grace.

There will be traditional family entertainment with Punch and Judy shows, Razz the Clown and Auntie Pearl, Waggy Tails Dog Agility, East Suffolk Morris Men, face painting, bouncy castle, barbeque, bar, stalls and exhibitors.
