Britain's Got Talent singer Ronan Parke will be heading to the Royal Norfolk Show on Thursday - and you can meet him thanks to the Evening News.

The 12-year-old, from Poringland, has been catapulted to fame after his stunning performances on the TV talent show.

He came second in the competition and next week he will be making an appearance at the show, and he will be signing autographs for fans at 3pm on Thursday - at the Evening News' stand - No 208 on Avenue 7.

Ronan, who has been to the show before on a primary school trip, said he was really excited and couldn't wait come home to Norfolk and visit the show.

The schoolboy is currently on the BGT tour and performed at London's O2 Arena last night. The tour finishes in Bournmouth on Sunday and Ronan will be back at Framingham Earl High School on Tuesday.

Mum Maggie said: 'He's so excited. He loves the Norfolk Show and wants to do something in the county and say thanks to the Norfolk people who supported him.

'He's back to school on Tuesday and looking forward to seeing everyone at school.

'I will be very sad for him when the tour finshes on Sunday as we have all got on brilliantly together.

'Ronan is close to the New Bounce boys and, despite the age difference, Jai, who is lovely.

'Everyone on the tour has been really supportive of each other and they have been like a family.'

The youngster will no doubt have many tales to tell of his experience on tour, including how in Brighton scores of his young female fans stormed to the front near the stage, and were chanting his name as they waited for him outside his dressing room.

He said: 'It was so crazy, but the whole tour has been amazing.'
