James Kavanagh, of Princes Road in Great Yarmouth, was sentenced after committing a burglary in South Quay last month.

He was jailed for more than two years - 876 days in total - and ordered to pay £170 at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, November 17.

He was also given a Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from parts of Yarmouth - including Regent Road and the Market Square, and Lowestoft.

Provisions of the order also state he must not:

• Act in a way that causes or is likely to cause nuisance, annoyance, alarm or distress to anyone not of the same household: including the use of foul, offensive, abusive or threatening language or behaviours against anyone, anywhere in a public place.

• Be in possession of an open container of alcohol in a public place.
