A man in his late 50s was hit from behind in an unprovoked attack outside a city pub on Good Friday.
Police from West Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) are looking for witnesses to the assault which happened outside The Perseverance in Adelaide Street, between 10pm and 11pm.
He received injuries to his head and eye.
Witnesses should call PC Simon Gooch, West Centre (SNT) on 0845 456 4567.
