Our readers have been having their say on the decision by councillors to reject plans for a 122m supermarket development in Norwich.

And the early results show an overwhelming majority think the plans should have been given the go-ahead.

The Norwich Evening News will report next week on the results of a reader poll which asked whether Norwich City Council's planning committee was right to turn down the plans for a new Asda superstore with community facilities and other shops.

More than 750 online and postal votes have been cast, with 79pc of voters saying that councillors should not have turned down the plans.

There still time to have your say by voting in our online poll before it closes at 5pm on Saturday.
