Late morning assault on man crossing bridge in Norwich

A man in his 20s was assaulted by a stranger while crossing a bridge in Norwich.
Police said the incident took place at about 11.20am on Saturday, August 2, when the victim was walking across the bridge towards St Crispin Road.
He was approached by an unknown man, and following a verbal exchange the man assaulted the victim before heading off in the opposite direction.
The victim was left with minor injuries from the incident.
