From former contestants of The Voice to face painting and competitions, the television station have planned a range of fun family events to take place outside The Forum between 10am and 4pm on December 3.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Norfolk-based cancer charity Big C. The charity, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, runs drop-in and support centres across Norfolk and Waveney to support cancer sufferers.

The day is free to attend and guests can also get themselves a goody bag to take away.

There will be a number of live performances from singers, songwriters and acts including Barney Holmes, Bradley Waterman and Breeze Redwine.

Legacy dance company will also be taking to the stage as will the Norwich Rock Choir.

For many, one of the most exciting parts of the day will be the opportunity to feature on Mustard TV, with the crew offering the chance for people to record their own shout-outs to be featured on the channel.

Youngsters will be treated to free festive face painting and balloons.

There will also be a chance to win flight tickets to one exciting destination, courtesy of Norwich Airport.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Lauren Self, fundraising administrator at Big C, said: 'I'm really excited about it, it should be a big event. It's good that the event is on December 3 – it gets everyone excited about Christmas, it'll be really fun. And hopefully, fingers crossed, there will be people that are there doing their Christmas shopping so we'll be able to set up a good environment and atmosphere on the day.'

She added: 'It's good to get the word of Big C out, in terms of that we're a local charity.

'Quite a lot of people might not be aware that the money that's raised for Big C goes straight back into the county and will help the people of Norfolk.'

To celebrate their 35th year the charity are having 35 choirs perform throughout December, with the event at the Forum seeing several of these performances.

Lauren said: 'This is the closing of the year, this is our 35th anniversary year so obviously we wanted to bring it to a nice rounded end so having 35 performances around Norfolk seemed fitting really.'

Senior Mustard producer, Tom Vince, said: 'This is the first time we've hosted an event like this and to be honest, it's just a great way to say thank you to the people of Norwich and Norfolk for supporting us all year.'
