Hundreds of dead starfish and other marine creatures have washed up onto Gorleston beach.
The sea creatures were first spotted on the sands of the beach yesterday afternoon.
Christine Pitcher, curator for the Sealife Centre in Great Yarmouth said the heavy rain and winds on Tuesday and Wednesday could be the cause.
She said: 'There have been incidents like this in the past where they have been stranded on the beach.
Representatives from the sealife centre are expected to visit the beach later today.
