You still may be feeling the chill of January, but Norwich City Council is looking forward to the summer and the colourful floats that make up the Lord Mayor's Procession,
Now organisers are calling for as many people as possible to join the big parade – schools, clubs, businesses and other local groups who want to show off to the 25,000-plus spectators.
Council leader Brenda Arthur said: 'I hope people across the city feel inspired to come together and get involved.
'Let's make 2015 the biggest and best year yet!'
Last year there were 51 floats covering a range of groups.
And you don't need to have a trailer or vehicle – you can walk along with the procession.
'The only requirement is that it's full of carnival spirit,' said Mrs Arthur.

The route will last a mile and go through the city centre.
Last year groups involved included dance clubs, nightclubs, radio stations, museums and the Norwich Star Wars Club.
There are cash prizes for the best floats, £300 for the first, £200 for the second and £150 for third as well as three runner up prizes of £100.
The parade will raise money for the Lord Mayor's charity, which this year is Cruse bereavement services who provide support and advice for the recently bereaved.
Last year they gave 38,922 bereaved people one-to-one support, and supported 5,343 children and young people.
Applications can be downloaded form the Norwich City Council website and can be emailed or posted to the council.
Deadlines for the applications are Tuesday, June 16, and the procession is on Saturday, July 4. The Lord Mayor's celebration runs from July 2 to 5.
